Crazy Times [Re​-​recording]

The lyrics for this crazy song was inspired partially by a true story. After a show at Pier 52 in Hermosa Beach in 1982, I went home with two girls. I knew one of them, I believe her name was Lisa. The other girl, her friend, I had not met until that night. It’s rather hazy, but I believe I tried to get a threesome happening. Anyway, for whatever reason, the threesome didn’t happen that night, although Lisa’s friend later told me about a club/house/party we could go to one night, if I was looking for something kinky like that. So one weekend night Lisa’s friend and I went to the A-Frame…

The A-Frame was the name of a large house (in an A-frame) located in the Hollywood Hills that had been renovated specifically for “kinky” fun. There were numerous rooms in the spacious house that contained a multitude of beds for every imaginable kind of adult activity, from one on one action to an orgy room. In other words, the A-Frame was the location of a wild swing party. Though I had made up for lost time considerably in the romance department since breaking out of the debilitating shyness of my younger years, I was still not prepared for what awaited me at the A-Frame.

I’m not going to go into details on that night but I can say that I certainly did not have as much “fun” as some other people there. Still, it was an eye opening experience observing the notorious Hollywood lifestyle “in the flesh” so to speak. This experience, was the, err, inspiration for the writing of this nutty tune.
